My love for animal
As an only child, I've been around pets since birth. I grew up with the comfort and love of dogs and cats, which continues my love of animals. If I had all the money globally, I would have opened up a place similar to Best Friends Sanctuary (Kanab, Utah) in Colorado. My dream has always been to live on many acres and be around animals 24/7. I would love to have a massive bed so all the dogs can sleep on my bed with me. My husband is not on board with me on this part.
My family
I've been married to my college husband of 21 years. We are proud of three Rugrats - Rhiannon - 20 (College Kid), Jathan - 15 (High Schooler), and Hudson, 12 (Middle Schooler). Parent to Jeter, our twelve-year-old Jack Russell/Beagle Mix, Ridge & Rocky - Deaf Border Collies Brothers who are still in puppy phases. Jeter, Ridge, and Rocky rescued us.
Little tidbits about me
I'm a hard-of-hearing person who's fluent in American Sign Language and can speak verbally and communicate with hearing clients.
I was born and raised right here in Colorado. I also had an opportunity to live out of state during my adult years: Arizona, Washington DC, Ohio, New York, and Indiana, where our rugrats were born. Return to Colorado, where we felt this state is the best place to raise our rugrats.
I've been to so many National Parks and Monuments all around the country. It's my life goal to visit each one. If you ask which one is my favorite, I answer ALL OF THEM! If I have to choose something, it's Needles at Canyonlands National Park during sunset hours. It's breathtaking!
I am a fan of Minimalism, a money-conscious (Debt-Free) lifestyle, and spending time outside. I work hard to eat healthily and work out as much as I can. You will often find me exploring here by hiking, biking, camping, or skiing. Dogs are always in tow, except for the skiing part! Mountains are calling, and I must go!
I'm a freelance graphic designer and have run a photography business for ten years. The experiences of running a business helped me with an easy transition to set up a pet business of my own once again. I currently focus on multi-small projects, such as designing and taking crash courses in photography organization business while caring for dogs at home.
I am an ambivert at heart and a homebody. I often joke with people that I'm allergic to humans, which is why I prefer to hang out with dogs! My heart constantly flutters every time I see animals!
